Born sometime in the mid1800's, Sabretooth was abused as a child to the point of going feral. He took the name Sabretooth when he learned he could exude claws from his fingertips and his fangs manifested. Utilizing his powers to escape and kill his parents, he became wild for a long time, before slowly regaining his mind and entering society as a mercenary.

His powerful metabolism and incredible healing factor kept him alive for far longer than he should have been as he lived down the years, working for the CIA, Canadian Government, and then being first unwillingly, then willingly experimented on by the agency called Weapon X. His powers were enhanced and his skeleton was laced with Adamantium, making him even tougher.

He was an agent of he government of the USA for years, until he went rogue and became a mercenary again, working for whoever paid the highest price and choosing to take on Wolverine, who he had known earlier in life, as often as possible.

In modern times, these two have continued their rivalry and antagonism, and do so to this day.

To put it simply, Sabretooth has enhanced senses of sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch, to something on the order of a hundred times human levels. His is faster, stronger and tougher than humans, not only because of his mutation, but because of the Adamantium laced along his bones. He ages slower and has a metabolism and vitality far beyond the norm. He has a superhuman healing factor, capable of healing almost any damage or wound, and enabling him to possess stamina to the Nth degree. He is also a trained tracker and hunter, and a formidable hand-to-hand combatant, having been trained by the Foreigner, the C.I.A., and many others.

He also possesses a single, razor sharp, retractable claw at the tip of each finger. Originally, these claws were fully capable of rending substances as durable as bone, wood, and stone. However, just like his skeleton, Sabretooth's claws have been artificially infused with Adamantium. As a result, his claws are not only as indestructible as his skeleton, but are now capable of cutting any known solid substance other than Adamantium itself.

Personality: Sabretooth does not consider himself to be human, but somehow both better and worse than human. He is savage in human perspective, being someone who would as soon kill, eat, or hurt someone as listen or talk to them. He goes through periods of ferality, and periods of civilization, and can and has shown himself entirely capable of being part of society, even if he hates it.

He is a man of basic urges' sex, violence, hunger, shelter. These are the things that he wants and needs, and that he will do damage for. He also likes the comforts of wealth, not enjoying being in anyone's power and realizing long ago that money means power. He also likes killing and violence, to the point of being willing sometimes to forego money if it means he will get a chance at mayhem.

He prefers to stand aloof and away from others, though he will choose not to, just to show he can walk amongst humans without killing them all... which he can, really.
